Many years ago, there was a murder of a wealthy businessman, Fortunato. Fortunato was murdered by a member of an old aristocratic Catholic family, his name is Montresor.
There are a few theories on why Montresor did such a cruel thing to this innocent man. As for myself, I agree with the theory that detective Arnold and my supervisor believe. They envision that the reason Montresor killed Fortunato was because of his hate for Fortunato. This case has remained unsolved for many years, and I agree. Anyways back to the real business?
Montresor the character who wants revenge is exacerbated exacerbated means angry at his friend Fortunato. So why is he ill-tempered towards Fortunato?
Fortunato simply vilified. Amontillado is narrated by Montresor he tells us the story of how he killed Fortunato. On the night Montresor killed Fortunato it was the carnival so Fortunato was drunk.
When Fortunato goes to search for the stored wine, Montresor suddenly chains him and traps him to the wall. Montresor, who is the vile narrator, tells us his profound hate toward Fortunato. Montresor decides to tempt Fortunato with his fondness for wine, in order to take him to his house all the way down to the catacombs and kill him. In my first drawing, in the top part is drawn the dusk, which symbolizes that something bad is going to happen.
The balloons and the ornaments reflect the carnival season. Romeo is the one who started the problem that everybody has. He is the problem in this story because he went to a party that was being hosted by the enemy Capulets, he ends up killing Juliet's cousin Tybalt in a fight, and in the end he ends up killing himself.
Therefore, this is the reason why I believe Romeo is the one to blame. Romeo is to blame for the death of himself and Juliet because he goes to the enemy's party. I say this because Benvolio convinces him to go to the party to look at other girls, to get rid of the other lad he is in love with.
Revenge is a sickness that plagues the mind and ends lives. Montressor states, "That neither by word nor deed had I given Fortunato cause to doubt my good-will Poe Yet Hamlet spends most of the play not doing anything he seems to be an incompetent character for such an arduous task. It is early on in the play that Hamlet learns that what the ghost of his father had told him was true, he indeed was murdered. And even when he has this information and the means to go about killing Claudius the killer, Hamlet proceeds to do nothing.
This hints early on in the story that Fortunato will somehow be harmed in one way or another. We heard this hint directly from the words of Montresor, the readers know that the narrator is planning a murder.
This creates a fear factor for the readers because they can see the fate unravel and they know there is going to be death. The idea of death itself. Montresor 's murder of Fortunato was premeditated, from the planning of the day, baiting him, and to making sure that his body was never found.
To begin with, Montresor carefully plans his murder wisely. He waited to make sure that he made the best revenge scenario possible, not allowing his emotions to overtake his judgments, and to commit the murder. We can also see in this text that the murder of his friend has been pre-determined and well thought out.
Some hypotheses can be made The Montresors used to be an established family, where honor was taken very seriously. A Montresor who's attacked must respond Montresor: "The Montresors," I replied, "were a great and numerous family. The thousand injuries of Fortunato I had borne as I best could There is also a social difference between Montresor and Fortunato, that could have aggravated their mutual disdain.
While Montresor has some noble roots, his name is declining. On the other hand, Fortunato is "rich, respected, admired, beloved" as Montresor says and the name "Fortunato" suggests. But Montresor also thinks that Fortunato do not deserve this success, and that he is an impostor in many areas In painting and gemmary, Fortunato, like his countrymen, was a quack All of Montresor's accusations against Fortunato are fuzzy, so he may also be mad. She noticed that Fortunato, despite being presented as a connoisseur of fine wine, claims some incorrect things about wine: F: "Luchesi cannot tell Amontillado from Sherry.
